Burn Safely
- Place candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from flammable objects before lighting.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets, and never leave it unattended.
- Light your candle for up to a maximum of 4 hours per session.
Lighting Your Candle
- Upon the initial lighting of your candle, let it burn for a minimum of 2-3 hours to establish a complete melt pool within the vessel, effectively activating a strong hot throw and best range of scent notes.
- Every time you ignite your candle, allow it to burn until the wax liquefies and spreads evenly across the entire surface, preventing any tunnelling.
Putting Out Your Candle
- Do NOT use your jar lid to put out your candle.
- Use a candle snuffer or a wick dipper - these are safe and ensure there’s no lingering smoke.
Between Uses
- Before you relight your candle, ensure to trim the wick down to a 1/4 an inch in length. This ensures that the wick burns slower. Ultimately prolonging the life of the candle.
- Until the wax has completely cooled, leave the candle where it is! Otherwise, it can cause an unevenness, like tunnelling.
Storage
- Do not move the candle while the wax is still liquid and allow it to cool and solidify.
- Store your candles in a cool and dry place.
- While our amber jars and lids provide UV protection, safeguarding the candle and preserving its integrity, you can rest assured that you won't need to fret about keeping it away from direct sunlight!
Know When to Say Goodbye
When only 1/2 inch of wax remains in your candle jar, it’s time to say goodbye.
Repurpose Our Candle Jars
Our amber jars aren't just visually appealing. Once your candle has burnt down, repurpose the jar by easily removing the wick and any residual wax at the base with a quick hot water pour. After a gentle hand wash and label removal with some steaming, it's ready for its next use!
